CoderScout provides a comprehensive Evidence Review environment for every candidate's attempt. This high-fidelity playback experience allows recruitment teams to conduct thorough, evidence-based evaluations using synchronized multi-media streams and automated integrity flags.

The Evaluation Interface​

The evaluation environment centralizes all data points from a candidate's attempt, providing a holistic view of their performance and technical honesty.

  • Unified View: Review the candidate’s result side-by-side with the original challenge details and technical output.
  • Synchronized Streams: High-definition Webcam, Screen Recording, and Audio playback are perfectly timed, allowing you to see exactly what the candidate was doing at any moment of the challenge.
  • Auxiliary Evidence: If enabled for the stage, the interface also integrates Auxiliary Device Evidence, providing a secondary camera angle to maximize assessment integrity.

CoderScout automatically analyzes candidate behavior during the session to surface Integrity Signals. These signals are plotted on the challenge timeline, highlighting potential deviations from assessment protocols.

Key Integrity Flags​

The playback timeline automatically identifies:

  • Tab Switiching: Detects and logs whenever a candidate unfocuses the assessment window or switches browser tabs.
  • Inactivity & Absence: Monitors for periods of screen inactivity or when the candidate is not present in the webcam feed.
  • Cheating Signals: Re-evaluates behavior patterns to highlight high-probability suspicious activities.
