June 12, 2026 Release
Highlights
This release expands language and communication assessment, improves candidate visibility in recruiter workflows, and adds more flexible AI Interview access.
New Features
CEFR Stage
Who it's for:
Teams hiring for roles where English communication proficiency needs to be assessed in a structured way.
What's new:
You can now add a CEFR stage to Assessments and Contests. The stage evaluates candidates across reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary, and grammar, with question difficulty aligned to the configured CEFR level.
Why it matters:
This gives hiring teams a standardized way to validate English communication ability before moving candidates into later evaluation or interview stages.
AI Evaluation and Transcript for Video Response
Who it's for:
Teams using Video Response to evaluate communication, intent, and presentation skills.
What's new:
Video Response now supports AI-generated scoring and transcript generation. Recruiters can review an overall AI score, score breakdown, strengths, areas for improvement, speech indicators, and a written transcript of the response.
Why it matters:
This reduces manual review effort and makes it faster to compare candidates across asynchronous response rounds.
Self-Serve AI Interview for Candidates
Who it's for:
Candidates who want to take an AI Interview independently.
What's new:
Candidates can now purchase credits for themselves and take their own AI Interview without being invited through a hiring workflow.
Why it matters:
This opens up AI Interview access beyond recruiter-led flows and makes the feature available for direct candidate use.
